the film
'Make Art Reese!' is an in-progress animated short following a boy's attempts to create and find meaning in art-making, and the complicated whirlwind of ideologies and theories that arise when trying to analyze art. As of now, the plan is for it to be 8 minutes long, and to use a combination of digital 2D animation, and 3D rendered backgrounds.

about the creator
Howdy, I'm Mika Lim, a college freshman from Los Angeles. What started as an obsession with drawing and writing has somehow turned into a commitment to making animated films that I can't seem to stop. I want to make films that make you feel. Authenticity and a sense of accessibility guide my filmmaking philosophy: making films that anybody could take meaning from without sacrificing artistic intent. Abstraction and expression and all that jazz. Interested in my other projects?
